Eric and Kaye Coomber at the 'Show and Tell' session of Club's November meeting showed the fossils of Weevil Pupal Cases that they had found in the main street of the town of Mukinbudin, about 300 kms east of Perth. They were being used as stone mulch around street trees.
Their research showed that they are also found in various other places in Australia (see the map below). They also found some information about these cases on the internet - see the link provided (the information is on pages 3 and 4).
